Clear, secure, and transparent payment handling.
Effective Date: 03 August 2026
1. Introduction
This Payment Policy explains the rules governing payments made through the Consifo platform for home and office services. By booking or paying for any service through the Consifo website or mobile application, you agree to comply with this Payment Policy, the Terms & Conditions, and all other applicable Consifo policies.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
Depending on availability and location, Consifo may accept UPI, credit cards, debit cards, net banking, digital wallets, cash on service where available, and other payment methods introduced by Consifo from time to time.
3. Payment Timing
Payment may be required before booking confirmation, partially in advance, after service completion, or according to the applicable service category. Consifo reserves the right to determine the payment model for each service.
4. Pricing
Service prices may vary based on service category, customer location, urgency of service, service duration, materials or spare parts used, applicable taxes, promotional discounts, and special requests. The final payable amount will be displayed or communicated before payment confirmation whenever reasonably possible.
5. Taxes
Applicable taxes, including GST or other government-imposed charges where required by law, may be included in or added to the service price. Tax invoices will be provided where applicable.
6. Payment Confirmation
A booking requiring advance payment will normally be confirmed only after successful payment authorization or receipt of payment.
7. Failed Payments
If a payment fails due to technical issues, insufficient funds, banking restrictions, or other reasons, the customer may be required to retry the payment or use another approved payment method.
8. Duplicate Payments
If a customer is charged more than once for the same booking due to a verified technical issue, Consifo will review the transaction and process an appropriate resolution in accordance with the Refund Policy.
9. Cash Payments
Where Cash on Service is available, customers should pay the agreed amount and workers must not demand unauthorized additional charges. Any dispute regarding payment should be reported to Consifo immediately.
10. Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply if the customer requests extra work beyond the original booking, additional materials or spare parts are required, or the scope of work changes after inspection. Customers should be informed of such charges before the additional work proceeds, where reasonably practicable.
11. Promotional Offers
Coupons, referral rewards, promotional discounts, and special offers are subject to their respective terms, may have expiry dates, may be limited to specific users or services, and cannot normally be exchanged for cash unless required by law. Consifo reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotional offers.
12. Refunds
Refund requests will be handled in accordance with the Consifo Refund & Cancellation Policy. Approval of refunds is subject to verification and applicable policy conditions.
13. Chargebacks
Customers should contact Consifo before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with their bank or payment provider. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension or other appropriate action.
14. Payment Security
Payments are processed through authorized payment service providers. Consifo does not intentionally store complete credit card, debit card, UPI PIN, CVV, or internet banking credentials. Users should never share OTPs, passwords, PINs, or banking credentials with anyone.
15. Invoices
Invoices or payment confirmations may be provided electronically where applicable. Customers are responsible for reviewing invoice details and promptly reporting any discrepancies.
16. Fraud Prevention
Consifo reserves the right to delay, decline, reverse, or investigate payments that appear suspicious, fraudulent, unauthorized, or inconsistent with this Payment Policy or applicable law.
17. Payment Disputes
If a customer disputes a payment, they should contact Consifo customer support with relevant booking details, payment references, and supporting information. Consifo will review the matter and respond in accordance with its internal procedures and applicable law.
18. Limitation of Liability
Consifo shall not be responsible for payment delays, banking interruptions, or transaction failures caused by payment providers, banks, internet outages, government actions, or events beyond its reasonable control.
19. Policy Updates
Consifo may revise this Payment Policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective upon publication with the revised Effective Date.
